Fresh Start Organic Market is committed to offering the highest quality and best tasting organic foods in New York City. We adhere to “Let Food be Thy Medicine” The power of a balanced and healthy diet, can heal all aliments. Fresh Start has been a local favorite in the Astoria-Ditmars area since November 2005. As one of the first health food markets in the area, we have always focused on providing the highest quality, healthiest and most eco-friendly products for our customers. In November 2015, we downsized our original emphasis on retail going from selling 30,000 items to our current, 1000 sku’s. We began to primarily focus on providing a comfortable, homey environment for customers to sit down and eat. We offer organic and natural foods along with artisanal, independently-owned and local companies. We make all our prepared foods from scratch using organic and sustainable ingredients. We take pride in supporting local farms. We love being a small, local, and inclusive community space as well as a market, cafe, and apothecary.
